Let them tell it—we’re “minorities.” But our spending power in the U.S. just hit $1.8 trillion. Let that sink in: We’re not underpowered. We’re just under-directed. We are the economy we keep begging to be included in. Imagine if even 10% of that $1.8 trillion flowed into Black-owned businesses. Into schools we build. Banks we own. Farms we plant. Fashion that reflects us. Healing rooted in our traditions. We wouldn’t just “close the wealth gap.” We’d shatter it.

This is about more than supporting Black business for show. This is about strategy over sympathy. We buy from them, they get rich. We buy from us, we get free. Every time you buy Black, you’re:  

  • Paying a Black mother’s rent. 
  • Funding a dream no one else believed in. 
  • Fueling innovation that wasn’t meant to survive under capitalism. 

You’re saying: We will not build empires for those who built nothing for us.

Marching is powerful. Posting is fine. But economic action is what they can’t ignore. We don’t need saviors. We need strategy. Circulation. Collaboration. We need more Black millionaires with a mission. More co-ops. More investors. More of us writing checks—not just getting written off.
